SFU is a Canadian open examination college in British Columbia, positioned Canada's top Comprehensive University by MaCleans Magazine in 2009 and 57th on the planet and third in Canada by Webometrics Ranking of World Universities. Following 30 years of arranging the City of Burnaby endorsed SFU's Official Community Plan (OCP) in 1996 after the University consented to exchange 320 hectares of its property to the Burnaby Mountain Conservation Area.
